Awesomesauce. He was amazing. I only wish that I could have met him. I'm using one of the billions of iOS devices that he and several other good people developed. All that I can say (having not known him personally) is that he was an amazing man who lived 56 short years, but in those 56 years, he changed how we look at innovation, computers, science, believing in what can really happen, etc. I watched one of the keynotes for the iPad 2 and I was inspired by it, "to boldly go where no man has gone before," and to soak in every minute of the 1 1/2 hour video. My mom asked me why I was so intrigued, and I replied, "because in a few years, this world is going to be completely different, it seems like apple is the only source of change in technology." She agreed and left the room. Ever since the iPod shuffle 1st gen. Came out in 2000 (I think 2000), I was a diehard apple fan since then. I'm 13 years old, I love what he did for our WORLD and may his soul rest in peace, but not your spirit. Thank you Steve Jobs. I will always remember you, as will millions of other people. It is almost like when my mom talks about where she was when challenger exploded. She was in college eating a sandwich, when she heard an abrupt "uh-oh" and the massive ship burned to the ground. I had just gotten out of my science class at 10:03. I was looking on instagram for likes and posts. I saw all of the memorials and I started to cry. It was an incredible amount of weight on my shoulders, physically and emotionally. I will always remember where I was that day. 10/5/11. A new day of infamy. I ? apple.
